Mark your calendars for a fun event at Picardo Pavilion. If you're new to backyard barter, here is the basic rundown:
You can bring:
handmade items, crafted or cooked by you
homegrown items, produce from your garden or animals
(foraged or wildcrafted items fine too)
skills you can share at the event (knife sharpening, short massage, flash fiction writing, ??)
The event works like this:
show up with whatever you'd like to barter, no need to register in advance
the first hour is to set up, chat about items, get to know each other
the second hour is for trading items and skills
we pack up and go home happy with our new treasures!
Absolutely no cash or other form of money is to be exchanged at this event. Trading goods and services only!
