Come “bee” a citizen scientist for a day and learn more about our fuzzy friend, the bumblebee.

We’ll have:

• identification instructions

• clay models of bumblebee homes

• bumblebee lifecycle information

• a chance for you to try out the iNaturalist app which helps citizen scientists identify plants and pollinators

This event is perfect for families and those just wanting to learn more about bumblebees and other pollinators’ contributions to our garden.

Go to the iNaturalist Picardo Field Day and register if you’d like to try the app (not required to participate).

If you’d rather go analog, we’ll also have identification sheets and experts to answer any questions.
