There will be a giving garden work party this Wednesday the 22nd from 5-7pm. Everyone is welcome.

Please note for this week only, we’ve switched from the usual Thursday night to Wednesday.

We will be weeding beds and paths, watering, filling in empty spots with onion starts (stored between the first two raised beds to the east of the shelter), and harvesting. Please bring a hand cultivator if you have one.

We could use a tomato savvy gardener to tend to the tomato plants.

We have some leaf miners on the chard and surprisingly, kale. Another task is to remove the infested leaf or parts of leaves from those crops toward the west end of the garden.

The Giving Garden is along the south border of the P-Patch. Hope you can join us!

This work party will be led by Kim, the wonderful volunteer who organizes all the donation sites and driving arrangements.
