P-Patch Earth Day Resource Fair

Celebrate Earth Day and kick off your growing season at the P-Patch Resource Fair, Saturday April 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northwest African American Museum (NAAM).

Whether you are a novice gardener or a seasoned green thumb this free event is open to all and will have a little something everyone. Come find new plants to sow at our seed swap, get some organic fertilizer to help your garden flourish, trade tips with other gardeners, and visit the community partners and vendors. The event will also feature a “coffee talk” garden networking session in the NAAM café, a kid craft table for the little ones, and a chance to learn more about NAAM by touring the museum.

Interpretation services will be available on-site. Community partners and vendors include GROW NW, King County Environmental Health Services, Washington State Seed Library Network, Washington Native Bee Society, Seattle Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs, Children’s Nook, King County Seed Lending Library, and more!
